A Long Island (Nassau County) based Mom and business owner, is searching for a high-energy, part-time, live out personal assistant who can ensure smooth house operations. An ideal candidate is highly organized, flexible, resourceful and a fantastic communicator. This individual must have a valid driver’s license, be comfortable with driving around Long Island (Nassau County area). You have a positive mindset, believe in providing exemplary service, and are motivated by helping improve the lives of others. Responsibilities: • Partner closely with the family to create weekly/monthly plans to ensure seamless household operations. You know that communication is the key to a great working relationship. • Responsible for various errands, (ie: grocery shopping, shipping packages, personal shopping, etc…) • Taking the car to the car wash weekly for a cleaning. • Assist with event planning (dinners, birthday parties, holidays) • Schedule and coordinate appointments (Doctors/Vets/Haircuts, etc…) • Make family travel arrangements (travel/transportation/lodging) • Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed Requirements: • 1+ years of similar personal assistant/house manager experience • Prior experience as a nanny or administrative role • Great organizational and prioritization skills • Valid driver’s license and experience driving in Long Island • Technically savvy. Comfortable with iPhone/texting/smartphone apps • High trust, able to maintain a high level of confidentiality • Strong communication skills Attributes of a Successful Candidate: • Friendly, personable, flexible, and a good sense of humor • You take your work seriously, are punctual, have high integrity and can be counted on • Strong organizational abilities - attentive to detail Schedule: Part-Time Compensation: $20/hr (about 20 hours a week to start with the opportunity for full-time in the future).
