Description
We are a guitar player/singer with a bass player and drummer, looking for a lead guitar player. Backing/harmonizing vocal abilities would be helpful but not necessary. Think Tool, Alice in Chains, sound Garden, STP, 90’s cover stuff mostly, would like to incorporate some originals at some point. Not too worried about playing out right now, more for fun and defining a new unique sound and see where we end up. Age, race, gender, not important, it is all about making great music. We have practice space in Greenfield with a PA system and some recording equipment and of course my own guitar stuff.
You don’t have to be a virtuoso, but you should know your instrument.
We try to practice once a week; however, I do travel on occasion for work so sometimes there will have to be some flexibility. If you want to play out every week, this is probably not for you. We would like to play out at some point, but just trying to get all the right pieces of the puzzle. We have had a couple different guitar players over the last several months but unfortunately, they didn’t work out long term.
Would also be nice if you have some experience with DAW’s, I use Sonar, but any experience would be helpful, but not necessary.
A little about us, I am in my 50’s and have been playing for over 30 years, I am not a great guitar player, but I am pretty good. The drummer and bass player are younger, in their 30’s and have a fair amount of experience as well. Overall, a good group of guys, no drugs, no attitudes, no drama. Looking for the same in a new guitar player.
If this sounds like something you would be interested in shoot me an email or text/call and we can set up a time to meet/audition.
Thanks,
Tom
