Structural Fitter Helpers Needed Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Structural Fitter Helpers for a fabrication shop setting in Tampa area. Temp to Perm! PAY: $16-$19 (based upon assessment) Job Description: Superior Skilled Trades is currently looking for structural steel fitter helpers. Ideal candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience and be able to read and understand prints, fit and fabricate from drawings. Assist lead welders in performing welding, brazing, thermal, and arc cutting operations Use hoists, wrenches, and hammers to lift, move, and clamp work materials into position or onto tables Oversee the scheduled maintenance of welding and fitting equipment to ensure they are operational Qualifications for Structural Fitters: Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, time management, stress tolerance. Ability to multitask. Keen eye for safety and efficiency. Strong background in blueprint reading. Job requires lifting and walking all day in indoor, Fabrication shop environments. Full time position of minimum of 40 hours. Quality Standards: Must be able to read and understand drawings, codes and specifications. Will ensure all established fabrication procedures are followed. Team work is essential in this position. Candidate must have a positive attitude and be able to work effectively with co-workers and supervision. Must adhere to all safety values and procedures, actively participate in Safety meetings and promote company safety culture. Qualifications: An individual must be able to perform each essential duty above average and always represent the company in a professional manner.
