Position for Maintenance and Repair Handyman

Hiring for a full time (40 hours/ week) job working for a property owner. Primary duty as contract labor will be handling maintenance requests from tenants, remodeling and renovation. Skills needed are: General carpentry (kitchen cabinets, sink stands, base board and door install) Drywall patching/texturing and finish Tile Work- Flooring, Shower Surrounds, etc. Basic electrical work(installation of fixtures, dishwashers, fans, etc). Basic plumbing (installing faucets, repairing/installing toilets, clearing the drain) Some painting and finishes Cleaning and pressure washing Must have your own tools and truck. Must be willing to take direction, have a good attitude, and be a team player. Must be able to deal with tenants. Communication is key- since the job involves a variety of different situations and work depending on the day, the ideal candidate has patience. Also, MUST be punctual. Pay is $20.00 an hour. You will be paid weekly, on Friday. Work days are Monday-Friday, 9AM to 5PM, however, occasion emergency might require your help. Major holidays paid days off. Background will be checked.
