ECO-FRIENDLY LANDSCAPER & GARDENER WANTED! I am looking to hire a skilled, experienced landscaper and gardener for part-time work in Los Angeles. I have existing clients in Pico Union, Glassell Park, Lincoln Heights, Alhambra and Downtown LA. 6hrs to 20hrs a week of work. $15/hr starting pay (first 2 weeks). $25/hr starting from the 3rd week. Payments are made to you by PayPal every 2 weeks. Long-term position. Starting ASAP. ABOUT US We are The Department Of Green. A small eco-friendly gardening and landscaping company based in Los Angeles with a few very nice clients. We are looking for someone equally nice and friendly, who is also knowledgeable, hardworking and experienced with gardening and landscaping. REQUIREMENTS • You speak fluent English. • You have a reliable vehicle. • You are physically fit - able to climb ladders, lift pavers, bags of soil, operate electric-powered tools, etc. • You are independent, able to work alone and knowledgeable in the field of gardening and landscaping. • You are extremely friendly & can interact with clients with a smile. • You have an eye for clean and tidy spaces. • You are fast, efficient and hard-working. • You are capable and experienced with - planting various plants, transplanting, tree & bush trimming (max. 15 feet tall), giving advice to clients about landscaping/gardening, mowing (with a push-reel), working with and laying pavers/stepping stones, tilling soil, leveling soil, laying sod, pulling weeds, raking leaves, watering plants, setting up and repairing drip irrigation and soaker hoses, building and repairing garden areas and wooden raised garden beds, etc. • You are able to identify Southern California’s most common plants by species, and can identify various plant problems - diseases, pest, root rot, aphids, etc TO APPLY, please email the below info to us. 1) Your name. 2) Your phone number. 3) Your email. 4) The zip code you live in. 5) Do you have any professional experience gardening or landscaping?
