Description
Hello Community,
I am looking for help with math.
Recently I started woodworking and carpentry. As a hobby and as a job.
This type of work requires the use of a tape measure, other measuring tools, and the understanding of angles and shapes.
There is math involved when designing a project, configuring materials in a way that creates an object and/or structure.
Unfortunately I have not touched some of this since grade school, and to be honest as an adult getting into this work I feel dumb.
So if you or someone you know has experience in teaching math, measuring ( using fractions) angles (for cutting materials), shapes, structures or architecture, I would greatly appreciate the help.
We could meet in a public place like a coffee shop, public library, or whatever works best.
I have transportation.
In exchange I could help you with a carpentry project, or handyman work.
Please pass this on to someone you feel might be interested.
Thank you!
