Electric acoustic guitarist/singer looking for someone who can play an instrument (preferably bass) AND sing. Looking for someone I can harmonize with. I am a baritone, so it would be great to match that with a higher voice. I am 56 years old with a career and family, but I take music seriously. I don’t want to do the typical bar band thing and try to learn as many songs as possible. With a partner I want to get together (in the beginning at least) two or three sets of songs, and really work on arranging the harmonies. If this means it will take several months to achieve this goal, fine. I want to start playing out, but I’m not in a rush. Quality is more important. The music I prefer is any popular music (rock, folk, soul, country) from the 1950s to the 1970s. Again, I’m looking for someone who can both play and sing (tenor). I am looking for someone the same age as me and in the same situation that I am in (family, career), but at the same time someone who wants to put in the work and be the best they can be. Out of respect for my wife, I am only looking to play with another guy. Also, no drugs or heavy alcohol use please. Finally (and I know I’m gonna get some nasty responses from this), if you are someone who is a really really big admirer of our last president, God bless you, but we don’t look at the world the same way, so it would never work out if we got together.
