DeSTEMber Holiday Session Tis the Season to be Jolly! Inspiring Greatness will grant Christmas Wishes to three girls of the Bethany Christian Services. The girls will attend and receive their Christmas Gifts at our DeSTEMber session. This session will also feature a TOY giveaway, we Inspire Greatness by supporting Girls, Kids and Families in our community. Inspiring Greatness (IG) is a community-based, nonprofit organization that works to inspire, expose, and educate girls, ages 8 to 18, to become innovators in the career fields of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), Golf, and Entrepreneurship through hands-on learning activities outside of the classroom. In doing so, IG hopes to create a culture of like-minded girls that will defy gender stereotypes and rise above hidden inequalities to pursue and succeed in any career they desire in the fields of STEM, Golf, and Entrepreneurship. To accomplish this, IG brings together bright minds and experts to discuss topics and career possibilities that provide new ways of thinking for young women. IG wants to see a world where women are able to compete effectively in science and technology industries. By encouraging young girls and women to think outside the box of gender bias, they can open new opportunities to develop new skills and talents and turn those into high income careers and businesses.
