Join Columbus Gives Back and Welcome Warehouse to stock and sort donated items to provide Dublin families with the resources they need! Columbus Gives Back invites you to join us at the Welcome Warehouse for an evening of stocking, sorting, and other projects as necessary to help them provide such an essential service to individuals and families in the Dublin area. When: Thursday, December 16, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Event Leaders: [email protected] Where: Welcome Warehouse, 7032 Hospital Dr. Dublin, OH 43016. It is easiest to park behind the shopping plaza off Perimeter Drive (see image below). Accessibility: The back entrance and warehouse are accessible to those with any mobility restrictions. COVID-19 Precautions: Columbus Gives Back is following all recommended social / hygiene protocols. Masks are no longer required for outdoor events but please bring one to the event in case our nonprofit partners require them. Masks and social distancing are still required for all indoor events. Additionally, if you were exposed before or test positive after having participated in a CGB event, please contact the event leader or reach out to [email protected] so that we can best support contact tracing efforts. About Welcome Warehouse: Welcome Warehouse exists to connect families in the Dublin City School District with the resources they need to thrive. Many families in our community are temporarily in need because of job loss, underemployment, health crises, or other challenges. We work with the community to help families meet basic needs, and we offer friendship, spiritual support and hope for a better tomorrow. About Columbus Gives Back: Columbus Gives Back coordinates group volunteer events with local non-profits, organizes philanthropic happy hours to raise support and awareness for our non-profit partners, and participates in other philanthropic events while emphasizing our social twist: to have fun with volunteers new and old during and after events in the hopes of creating a culture of community engagement amongst our target audience of young professionals. #SocialTwist: We have begun re-introducing social twists, where we invite volunteers to hang out with us after an event to have fun doing something local! As of May 1st, outdoor/patio social twists will be coordinated at the discretion of event leaders and volunteers.
