Program Council in collaboration with the CU Student Government Homecoming Coalition are excited to announce... Peach Tree Rascals will be headlining the 2021 Homecoming concert! The Homecoming concert will take place in the Glenn Miller Ballroom inside the University Memorial Center on the University of Colorado Boulder campus on Wednesday, November 3, 2021. The openers Mr.Mota will being paying at 6:30 pm when doors open and Peach Tree Rascals will start at 7:00 pm. Tickets will be priced at $5.00 for CU Boulder students and $10.00 for the general public. More of a brotherhood than a collective, Peach Tree Rascals blend a seemingly effortless knack for melody with layers of rich harmony and R&B grooves. Recording together since their high school days, producer/mixer Dominic "Dom" Pizano, rappers-singers Issac Pech, Tarrek Abdel-Khaliq, Joseph Barros, and creative director Jorge Olazaba united with the intent of seeking musical growth and companionship. With most of the members being second generation Americans (the sons of Palestinian, Filipino, and Mexican immigrants), they quickly realized a deep, natural connection with one another, and grew into a single, harmonious unit. To date, Peach Tree Rascals has garnered 500M+ streams across platforms and count 6M+ Spotify monthly listeners. Their breakthrough hit “Mariposa” charted to #1 on the Alternative Radio Chart and have been co signed by Lizzo and Harry Styles. Boulder County’s current public health orders will require all attendees to wear masks. Additional venue rules include: no backpacks or bags larger than 18" x 12" x 4", no skateboards, no weapons (including concealed carry), no professional photography or audio/video recording, no smoking/vaping inside the venue, no alcohol or other drugs. Empty, non-glass water bottles will be allowed. Program Council is a student-run organization at the University of Colorado Boulder dedicated to bringing quality, affordable entertainment to campus. The group hosts a wide variety of concerts with big name acts in venues such as the Farrand Field, Balch Fieldhouse and Club 156. Program Council also hosts consistent film screenings in CHEM 140 that are free to students and the general public. For more information on Program Council, and to see a complete calendar of upcoming events, visit programcouncil.com.
