USA Climbing and Momentum Indoor Climbing in Millcreek and Lehi will host the 2021 YETI Climbing National Championships, November 13-17. For the first time ever, the separate elite championships for Bouldering, Lead and Speed are being combined into one single championships event, crowning six national champions. This new event will bring America’s best competition climbers together, including Olympic and National Team members, and provide an early look at the athletes working to make the Paris 2024 Olympic Team. Given the size of the event, Momentum Indoor Climbing will share the championships across two of its facilities with Millcreek hosting Lead and Speed and Lehi hosting Bouldering. The preliminary schedule can be found below. At this time, the event will allow ticketed spectators but capacity is extremely limited. USA Climbing is monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and working closely with the host facility to organize the competition in line with local health department and CDC guidelines as well as input from the USA Climbing Medical Committee. Given limited capacity and high demand, no refunds will be available for this event. Regarding athlete admission to the event, athletes who have competed in a specific discipline may use their bib as entry into rounds they have not qualified for.
