On Dec. 5th from 9:00am-10:30am, families will have the opportunity to enjoy the magic of the season prior to the center’s opening for a quieter, more subdued experience. Sensitive Santa provides a safe, controlled environment for families and children with special needs to enjoy the holiday season. The experience includes alternative seating options for children taking photos with Santa, as well as muted lights, quiet music, and reduced center traffic to help lessen sensory stimuli. The event is free to attend, and Santa photo packages will be available for purchase. Each family or group is asked to RSVP in advance by reserving one ticket. Cottonwood Mall is Albuquerque’s family-friendly shopping destination with more than 130 retail, dining and entertainment options. Featuring a state of the art dog park offering agility courses, solar powered charging stations and a self-dog washing station.
