Water Wayfinding explores natural and infrastructure water in our community through the stories of our neighbors. This youth and community creative studio features folks from across the city sharing on how water impacts their lifeways. With the question, how does the lake show up in our neighborhood? What is our access to and relationship to Chicago’s waterways. We will hear from activists, artists, students and educators about their water related work. Participants will be involved in conversation and activities throughout. Come prepared to be curious, do dialogue, share your ideas, and get creative. This program is a part of 2021 Chicago Architectural Biennial, The Available City and produced by Wayfinding, a creative collective which cultivates and produces interdisciplinary, cross-sector projects and programs, building connections between people and the natural and built environment.
