Chicago Sports Medicine Society presents the Fall 2021 Educational Meeting & Seminar Chicago Sports Medicine Society in conjunction with UIC College of Medicine, Departments of Orthopaedics, Radiology, Pain Management, & Rehab Medicine present the Fall 2021 Educational Meeting & Seminar. This course is hosted at the Barrington Orthopedic Specialists. The symposium topics will include: hand and wrist injuries, cervical spine injuries, ankle sprains and surgical repair, surgical repair options for ACL tears, ACL sport specific rehab, and surgical options for reverse total shoulder. Learning Objectives: Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to: Analyze the diagnosis and pathophysiology of hand and wrist injuries. Analyze injuries to the cervical spine & guidelines for return to play. Review treatment options for ankle sprain, surgical repair techniques and return to activity. Discuss surgical repair options for ACL tears and protocol for return to play. Sport specific exercise review for return to play after ACL surgery. Advances in surgical options for reverse total shoulder surgeries for more active individuals. Registration is open to the first 50 registrants. Proof of COVID vaccination is required to attend this meeting.
