Intermediate courses of drifting and forge welding techniques. BLADESMITHING 102 – Forged Tomahawk You will learn to forge a tomahawk using a gas forge and san mai process. The hawk will be made by using a wrapped construction method with a carbon steel bit forge-welded in for the cutting edge. This 6-hour intermediate courses will build upon basic skills by introducing drifting and forge welding techniques to create tomahawks designed to chop and throw. Handles will be provided and all participants should leave with a ready-to-use functional tool. Some forging experience is recommended. Ages 16 and over.
