Join us and #OptOutside for an inclusive, family friendly nature walk at Crissy Field.
REI started this campaign in 2015 to encourage their employees to get outdoors on the busiest shopping day of the year. Every year, Latino Outdoors leaders across the country host outings to support our communities on opting for the outdoors over stores.
This year, Latino Outdoors SF Bay Area will be hosting an inclusive, family friendly nature walk along Crissy Field on Friday, November 26th at 10am. The compacted natural material, boardwalk, asphalt trail is accessible and accommodates various trail users.
We'll meet at the Crissy Beach Parking Lot, walk to Fort Point National Historic Site, explore the fort, and back for a total of 3.5 miles.
Please bring comfortable shoes, water, and dress in layers! The fort is the coldest place in the bay! We'll provide snacks. If interested, there's plenty of green open space or picnic tables for lunch.
