The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People DeKalb County Branch is hosting its 65 Annual Freedom Fund Gala The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) DeKalb County Branch is hosting its 63rd Annual Freedom Fund Awards & Scholarship Gala - The Masquerade! This formal affair will be a Mardi Gras theme masked ball taking place Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. Courtyard Atlanta Decatur Downtown/Emory, 130 Clairemont Avenue, Decatur, GA 30030. The celebration will be well attended by various community leaders and elected County officials. NAACP DeKalb County Branch is honored to recognize the significant contributions of community leaders who represent our diverse DeKalb County population. This year’s theme is “Unmasking Freedom Disparities”. This year’s gala will honor eight (8) great leaders in our community who have made noteworthy achievements toward civil rights.
