Please note, you cannot breed two satin guinea pigs. It’s dangerous. Also, please do research on satin guinea pigs before you adopt. Satin guinea pigs may carry the satin syndrome gene which causes Osteodystrophy (weak bones), kidney disease and other complications. They also tend to have a shorter life span. Due to their disease, they will need medical care and proper medications when complications begin, if they do have the disease. You can read more about the satin syndrome here: http://www.guineapigwelfare.org.uk/satin-guinea-pigs/
