Position Title: Receiving Associate – 1st Shift Wage: $17.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm A food manufacturing in the heart of Milwaukee, WI is looking to add a Receiving Associate to their 1st shift team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Respond to deliveries and pick ups as the coordination personnel on the dock - Verify packing slips and shipment manifests against physical shipment and receiving documents provided - Inspect physical deliveries and note damages and discrepancies - Inspect inbound and outbound trucks - Receive deliveries into ERP system - Create and apply receiving labels onto incoming product - Stack, palletize and move product in accordance with storage and shipping requirements - Use dock material handling equipment including baler, forklift, scales and pallet wrapper Requirements: - At least two years of experience in a warehouse environment pertaining to handling materials, receiving and food safety - At least three years of experience with material handling equipment - Experience in a food manufacturing environment especially with tea, coffee or specialty food preferred - Forklift certification - Experience enforcing basic security procedures - Basic understanding of lot inventory management - Basic understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) - Able to work independently and coordinate well with team members - Basic computer proficiency QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
