TAMPA, FL — All roads have reopened following a gas line rupture that forced some evacuations and road closures in downtown Tampa Monday morning. According to Tampa police, construction workers struck a gas line at 9:41 a.m. Monday. There were several road closures in place while Tampa Electric Co. worked to repair the leak including in the 1500 block of North Morgan Street and North Pierce Street as well as in the 100 block of East Kay Street and East Estelle Street.
