The holidays present amazing opportunities for families to create heartfelt memories and Christmas in particular gives the gift of experiencing the priceless joy and magic that Santa brings. Understanding that children with sensory sensitivities may require a more customized experience, Edison Mall will offer Sensitive Santa®, a sensory-friendly holiday event, Dec 12th from 9 AM to 10:30 AM. During Sensitive Santa, families will have the opportunity to meet Santa prior to the mall opening for a quieter, more subdued experience with the opportunity to support Autism Speaks. This family-friendly event allows children with special needs to experience the annual magic of the holidays and take pictures comfortably in a safe, controlled environment. Edison Mall is Southwest Florida’s only enclosed and climate-controlled shopping destination serving the Greater Fort Myers and Naples area. The town center is home to more than 160 national and local retail, dining and entertainment options, as well as numerous events and activities throughout the year.
