NORTHPORT, NY — Padruig Douglas, a junior at Northport High School, won the Suffolk individual gold golf championship, the school district announced in a news release. Douglas shot a 5-over-par 77 to earn the win, and he is slated to represent Suffolk County at the New York State championship this June. "Padruig's win was a great accomplishment," said his coach and NHS math teacher Brian Sundberg, via news release. "I am proud of his determination and impressed by his hard work.
