The Fuentes Family is very excited to announce The Daniel Fuentes Foundation online fundraiser is finally live! Due to the pandemic we have not been able to host our annual fundraisers since 2019! Daniel’s Family is extremely grateful for the staff at Local Ink 516 for helping them put this together! Please take a look at the link below to support our foundation! Thank you so much for your support!🙏🏼❤️🤍💙 The Non-Profit Daniel Fuentes Foundation was set up in honor of Island Trees wrestler and Graduate class of 2005 Daniel Fuentes, who was killed in action in Iraq on April 6, 2007. The foundation was set up to not only provide scholarships to Island Trees Seniors, but to also help support our active military, veterans and Military K-9 friends. In recent years we have donated custom wrestling apparel to the Island Trees Wrestling Team, sent care packages to soldiers overseas, as well as care packages to the Military K-9s including food, Medications and other medical needs. Every year we host the “Gold Star Families Remembrance of Our Fallen Heroes” at Eisenhower Park with the help of Nassau County and other Gold Star Families, reading the names of all NY State Fallen Heroes.
