Every year, the Miami Book Fair opens its doors to dozens of devoted and enthusiastic individuals for assistance in various capacities. It’s that time again. We are currently looking for temporary Miami Book Fair Street Fair Staff to assist from November 15 through November 23 with overall event set up and breakdown.
We have 20 positions to fill at the rate of $14 an hour. The correct candidates must be able to walk long distances, lift heavy items and be on his/her feet for prolonged periods of time.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Assisting with the installation of banners on tents; helping vendors with moving boxes of books to booths; moving and setting up tables and chairs; and answering phones.
We expect hard work and a positive attitude. In return, our temporary employees gain incomparable, behind the scenes experience at the highest level and the opportunity to make literary history!
