Here are the top stories in Norfolk today: With all the votes now counted, Danica Royster will keep her seat as the Superward 7 representative on the Norfolk City Council. Although Royster was in the lead after Election Day, she said she would wait for the complete count before declaring victory. She received 6,788 votes, or 27.6 percent of all the votes, and defeated community activist Jackie Glass by a margin of just 460 votes. (Virginian-Pilot)A Norfolk woman is facing a number of gun-related charges after shooting a woman in Northeast D.C. on Friday night. Tommie Dunmire, 54, was dressed as a UPS employee when she shot the victim inside her home. When officers pulled Dunmire over, she refused to exit her vehicle and then shot herself inside of her car. She was then transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. (WAVY.com)Police are currently investigating an undetermined death after an unresponsive man's body was pulled from the water on E. Indian River Road in Norfolk Monday afternoon.
