Fire Breaks Out At Goucher College, Officials Say

TOWSON, MD — Fire broke out on the Goucher College campus over the weekend. Firefighters from the Providence Volunteer Fire Company said they handled a blaze inside a testing lab at the Hoffberger Science Building after 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 6. Crews extinguished a small fire in a laboratory oven at the building in the 1000 block of Dulaney Valley Road, officials said. Afterward, firefighters helped with ventilation and smoke removal. Nobody was injured, according to the fire company.
