(This posting is for Technician I, II, or III only). No two days are exactly the same at City of Louisville Operations. Working in a fast-paced, hands-on, team-focused environment within a small department, individuals selected will work on a variety of complex street infrastructure, water and storm water maintenance work and projects. An employee in this position will have the opportunity to operate a variety of light duty trucks, dump trucks, tractors, backhoes, street sweepers and front-end loaders. ***You will receive a one-time sign-on bonus of $1,000.00 on the first pay period after 90 days of employment. This great opportunity provides YOU: Career progression model where movement in achieved through training, work performance, and water distribution/collection certifications received Operations Technician I - $20.00 - $25.60 Operations Technician II - $21.77 - $28.79 Operations Technician III - $24.49 - $32.39 Operations Technician IV - $26.49 -$35.03 Options for Flexible scheduling and work/life balance 4-day work schedule (10-hour days Monday-Thursday) during the summer months, typically May through September = 3 day weekends!
