I am looking for an assistant/property manager/helper that will include occasional travel. My company runs short term rentals such posted on AirBnB and VRBO. We are aiming to double in size in 2022 and expand to other states in 2023. My current assistant lives in North Carolina and will be reducing her hours due to the distance from TN. We are shutting down one arm of our business in NC, but expanding in TN. Hence the need for a part-time assistant closer to our short-term rentals. Initially, I will only need someone for 8-12 hours per week as we expand our rentals. Over the course of 2022, there would be room for expanding those hours per week. The job will consist of helping manage AirBnB reservations, guest relations, property upkeep and management, delegation for cleaners and handy people, etc. Also, there will often be times where we may be remodeling a property and you would be asked to help with light remodeling such as painting or light cleaning. Additionally, I also need help with personal assistance such as helping with paying bills (personal or business), organization of supplies, help with upkeep of my personal home or even the occasional dog sitting (two small dogs). This position is an all around assistant/helper and one should be open to different types of tasks. Computer skills is a huge plus as a portion of the job is done online, especially dealing with guests and vendors. Knowledge of how to work spreadsheets is not needed, but a plus. Hours are flexible and can range from morning, mid-day or evening shifts. Once you get good at the job, you would be setting your own hours for a portion of your schedule. No experience necessary, but guest relations or customer service skills will help. There will be occasional travel consisting from 2-10 days for the job, but this is very rare. You will learn a ton about short-term rentals and managing not only a short-term rental, but an entire business. I prefer someone that wants to grow with the company as we aggressively expand over the next 3-5 years.
