D&L Art Glass Supply is a successful distribution business centrally located in Denver. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, detail oriented person who can stock glass, supplies and accurately pull, check and pack orders. Knowledge of packing requirements, modes of shipping and size limits, and UPS / FEDEX shipping experience is preferred. This job requires excellent attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work well with others. Great opportunity to work in a team oriented upbeat environment! General Responsibilities Under supervision and in accordance with established procedures: • Stock glass, tools and supplies • Pulls orders accurately • Checks orders for accuracy of pulling: detail oriented, catch errors • Packing; knowledge of packing requirements, modes of shipment, groupings, size limits, weight limits, and hazardous materials requirements. Placement of boxes and paperwork flow • Bag & Tag inventory Items • Receiving; Prioritizing, checking in merchandise accurately, special orders, paper work and stocking • Shipping; running UPS and FedEx small box shipping system, invoicing orders in Mas200 system • Problem solving with both inbound and outbound shipments • Knowledge of correct flow of paperwork throughout the warehouse • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of warehouse as well as tools and equipment • Provide other assistance as requested or directed by supervisors • Some over-time may be required • Assist with inventory (required of all employees) Materials and Equipment Used: • Computer – Sage100, UPS/Fedex shipping • Telephone • Hand cart • Scales • Adding machine/calculator • Pallet jack, fork lift, power tools • Various hand tools including but not limited to: Utility knife, tape gun, staple gun Skills, Education and Experience: • High school diploma or GED • Previous shipping, receiving and warehouse experience preferred • Ability to follow instructions, rules and regulations • Ability to lift 50 lbs and be on your feet all day • Ability to develop and maintain effective and positive working relationships with all staff • Ability to speak and write clearly and effectively • Ability to determine proper actions and be held accountable for them • Valid and current Colorado drivers license • Willingness to learn and desire to accept additional responsibility • Self motivated, dependable and reliable • Mandatory adherence to company safety procedures and other policies Additional Job Requirements: This job requires constant bending, lifting, twisting, carrying, standing/walking all day, hand-eye coordination, use of all motor functions, reading, writing, and following company safety procedures **This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, 8:30am-5pm, 40 hours per week. Medical/dental/vision benefits are available after 2 months. Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour Please submit resume and date available to work.
