Press release from the City of Austin: November 5, 2021 Case: 21-3071393 Date: November 3, 2021 Time: 11 p.m. Location: Hemphill Park behind the Fire Station located at 201 West 30th St. The Austin Police Department (APD) Robbery Unit would like to alert the public and is requesting the community's assistance with identifying a suspect of a robbery. A female victim was in the park when she was approached by a suspect who engaged her in conversation. The suspect took control of the victim's cell phone and assaulted her when she attempted to retrieve it.
