AUSTIN, TX — A man is dead after his car crashed into a tree Sunday evening in east Austin, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.
EMS were called to reports of a car crashing into a tree around 4:44 p.m. at 1102 Tiller Street. Officials said a man was pinned to his car before they were able to extricate him.

EMS conducted CPR on the man, but the man later died at the scene. The identity of the man has yet to be released.
It is not clear what led to the fatal crash; however, authorities will continue to investigate.
