Man Dies After Car Crashes Into Tree In East Austin

AUSTIN, TX — A man is dead after his car crashed into a tree Sunday evening in east Austin, according to Austin-Travis County EMS. EMS were called to reports of a car crashing into a tree around 4:44 p.m. at 1102 Tiller Street. Officials said a man was pinned to his car before they were able to extricate him. Live in Austin? EMS conducted CPR on the man, but the man later died at the scene. The identity of the man has yet to be released.
