1 Dead, 2 Hospitalized In Southeast Austin Crash

AUSTIN, TX — One person is dead and two others were hospitalized after two cars collided in southeast Austin early Sunday, Austin Travis County EMS reports. The crash occurred around 7:05 a.m. Sunday at 5500 Nuckols Crossing Road. EMS reports one person was pronounced dead at the scene and two people were taken to a local hospital. Of the two hospitalized, authorities said one person suffered life-threatening injuries while the other only had potentially serious injuries. Live in Austin? The identify of the person killed has yet to be released. It is not clear what the condition is of the two people who were hospitalized on Sunday.
