#Give Thanks, Give Life Blood Drive Friday, November 26th from 2pm – 7pm, Lutheran Church of the Resurrection is hosting a Thanksgiving blood drive! Each year, nearly 5 million Americans need blood transfusions - trauma and burn patients, premature infants, heart surgery patients, organ transplant recipients, and those fighting cancer. Emergency rooms stock this precious commodity for the unexpected times it is needed. BUT BLOOD IS IN SHORT SUPPLY NOW. In fact, there’s less than a four-day supply of rarer types (A, B, AB) and less than a two-day supply of type O! You can give whole blood or double red blood donations. The need is critical! Donating blood is the easiest way to give back to the community. One hour, one unit of blood, 3 lives saved! YOU can do this! Give thanks for life! Give blood this holiday season!
