A workshop to empower women to get a hand on their land with education on timber harvest basics and connections to consulting foresters. Land & Ladies workshops are unique where women attendees are taught by women professionals! To view the entire series dates, topics and locations: CLICK HERELate registration: If you register the day of event, or within 1 day of the event, there is no guarantee supplies will be available at workshop.Covid-19 Precautions:A liability waiver will be sign upon registration on the day-of event stating you understand the possible risks associated with COVID-19 exposure. All precautions will be taken at the venue including sanitizing tables and chairs, providing hand sanitizer at the registration table and having masks available for use. Seating will be adequately spaced out as well. Depending on the guidelines from the CDC, UGA, or any other relevant organization at the time of conducting workshop, alternative precautions (e.g., outdoor sitting with adequate spacing, rotations between lectures and field visits, etc.) will be explored. If you fall within the category of "higher risk for severe illness," then please consider your decision to attend the workshop for personal and public safety. Cancellation Policy: In the event the workshop is cancelled due to unforeseen events, such as natural disasters or pandemic shut-downs, a full refund will be granted. If you are no longer able to attend the workshop after ticket purchase: a full refund will be granted up to 3 days prior to the workshop; within 2 days to the day of workshop a 50% refund will be provided. If there is no notification of cancellation or of not being able to attend, no refund will be provided.
