Description
Simon, 9 yrs old, has been at the county shelter since July.
Kennel living has been hard on Simon’s body. Especially his joints.
He has become so stiff that it’s been difficult for him to walk more than a few feet without him stopping and laying down.
Simon doesn’t want long walks - he just wants someone to love, and for them to love him back (which is incredibly easy)..
Simon is ready to leave the shelter and never look back. Simon recently had a short stint out of the shelter. We sometimes have apprehensions about adoptions but not with this one. Not with Simon. After all, how could a dog as perfect as him ever be returned?
Simon’s adopter had to make the difficult decision to return him to the shelter after a few days, as their dogs did not take kindly to Simon.
Per former adopter:
“Simon is the perfect dog. Very well behaved, very well-mannered, very well potty trained, is trained and listens to commands”.
We don’t want Simon spending more time in the shelter.
He is incredibly gentle - just needs someone to chill with in a cozy home.
Shelter requirement:
No small animals/cats
Please reply if interested in sweet Simon.
