NEW DATE! The Harlem Globetrotters have announced that we have a new re-scheduled date of November 22, 2020. The Harlem Globetrotters Event presented by United Bank will take place at 2p. on November 22nd. We'll continue to monitor CDC guidelines as we near the event date. __________________________________________________________________________________________ Due to popular demand, the Harlem Globetrotters are returning to Shenandoah University and Winchester on March 19th, 2020 for a one-night event of alley-oops, and-ones and acrobatics. The Globetrotters will take to the court at the James R. Wilkins, Jr. Athletics & Events Center on March 19. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the event starts at 7 p.m. Magic passes for this event are now SOLD OUT. We are proud to be partnering with Bright Futures of Winchester/Frederick County for this event. Bright Futures will be collecting food. Bright Futures - Frederick/Winchester provides weekend food packs to over 900 kids every week who attend Winchester City and Frederick County Public Schools. The support provided by community drives such as this are invaluable to our mission and to the students who experience food insecurity when not in school. They were founded in 1926 and have played more than 26,000 games in 122 countries/territories. Known worldwide as the Ambassadors of Goodwill, the Harlem Globetrotters present The ABCs of Bullying Prevention to children 6 to 12 years old. While in Winchester, they visited Admiral Byrd Middle School and Orchard View Elementary School. This event is operating with a CLEAR BAG POLICY. Allowable Bags: - Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12" OR - One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar) - Small clutch bags, 4.5" x 6.5", with or without a handle or strap, can be taken into the stadium with one of the clear plastic bag options Parking will be available on site (first come / first serve). Food & Beverage will be available for purchase during the event. Children under the age of 2 do not need a ticket and can sit on adult lap. Any child that has had their 2nd birthday, will be required to have a ticket.
