Jr.Lifeguard Camp Junior Lifeguarding has a strong focus on developing swimming skills to help participants meet the Lifeguarding course prerequisite. The course also introduces participants to lifesaving skills, such as in-water rescues, use of a rescue tube, and first aid, CPR and AED. Participants also have the opportunity to shadow lifeguards in rotation to get a real sense of being on the job Prerequisite: Age: 11-14 Front Crawl for 25 yards Breaststroke for 25 yards Tread water or float 1 minute Exit without using a ladder   Drop off: Coastal Pines Technical College Classroom Location Coastal Pines Technical College: 9a.m-11:30a.m Lunch: 11:30a.m-12:30p.m Pool Location: YMCA 1p.m-3p.m Days: Monday- Wednesday Pick-up: YMCA Please bring mask, lunch,bathing suit, and towel.
