Hey folks --- are you a family? do you know of a family that has a furnished spare room for one of my HS students from China studying at a private HS in Hyannis and graduates this June? I could use the help- I'm the student housing coordinator looking to relocate him. He wants to move because his host parent smokes. Student needs to be welcome in like a family member Its a month to month payment of $1200 Yes, you will get a 1099 tax form to put on your taxes but there are expenses you can deduct so you pay fewer taxes. The student has been attending this program for several High School years. He speaks great English Independent Does need to be driven to and from school Does need to get fed of course. -- he is a teen. Hosting student is good Karma -- if you need some, this is a good way to get it.
