Beginning January, looking for a short term studio artist to share my space located in the DTLA for 1-3 months max. With 1,000+ square ft. available space. Built for a painter, but open to have photographer, video, or sculpture artists. Rent will be shared with 1 other painter. $1200 Studio has amazing natural lighting during the day and great airflow from the two large open windows on the west side of the space. The night time experience of the space is a sure vibe, suited by studio lighting, speaker system, and a unique ‘floating’ rear projection screen with HD projector. Painting racks available for storage. A lot of floor space and 3 big walls to share. Highlights: - 1250 sq. ft. (~1,000 sq. ft. available space) with 12 ft ceilings - ‘Vibe corner’ large squishy L couch and wooden table great for chilling and client meetings - Mobile Speakers Yamaha HS7 monitors & sub - ‘Floating’ rear projection screen & projector - Large Fridge, sink, & bar - Plants & succulents throughout - (2) Large windows open with view of San Gabriel mountains and DTLA skyline - Ping-pong table - Vibey studio lighting - Gallery wall space with track lighting available for pop-up exhibitions - Restroom (just down the hall) - No noise restrictions (if additional sound is brought in, this requires a conversation) - Industrial Sink - Service elevator available for load in and load out - Rooftop Access with DTLA Skyline Views (less than 10 people only) - Free Wifi Parking: There is plenty of street parking on Towne Ave. directly outside the building.
