Seasoned drummer and bassist seeking players for experimental project

Hello. Myself on drums and a bassist are seeking to work with musicians to form an experimental and improvisational rock-oriented project. We are especially interested in finding sax and brass players, as well as vocalists. Whatever you play, reach out if the following resonates with you: We are two passionate creatives who first and foremost enjoy playing music for ourselves. This project will appeal to musicians who are motivationally driven to engage in creative improvisational music, be what it may. We play in the pocket but are also unafraid to step outside the boundaries from time to time. We want to write songs that we're proud of, but how we get there is a musical experiment. Without getting too philosophical, our goal is create music, using a blend of improvisation as well as structured writing, as a means to push the boundaries of what we think we are individually, musically capable of. Something akin to the sum being greater than its parts. We don't have a perfect person or a perfect sound in mind. We don't discriminate based on race, sex, or gender, or age. Come as you are. We currently don't have gigs lined up, as this project is in the incubation phase. Some of my personal musical inspirations: Morphine, Christian Scott Atunde Adjuah, Fugazi, Ambrose Akinmusire, Pixies, Miles Okazaki and Dan Weiss, Miles Davis, Sonic Youth, Thelonius Monk, and on and on...
