ABOUT: We are a nonprofit arts organization presenting and curating creative events for all ages and incomes at unusual spaces around Seattle and at our home venue, Fremont Abbey Arts Center. Host to well known events like The Moth, The Round, CATHEDRALS, EarlyShows, BARE, and more. We create experiences where people can learn and develop through education & performance in many different art mediums. The Fremont Abbey has featured local artists such as The Head and The Heart, Hey Marseilles, Mary Lambert (of Macklemore), Damien Jurado, Noah Gundersen, The Lonely Forest, big name poets like Buddy Wakefield, and lots more. We continue to work with up and coming artists in Seattle to curate vibrant and welcoming spaces for music, dance, visual, literary and culinary arts to thrive. THE NEED: This is an excellent chance to get hands on with the various concerts and events at nonprofit venue Fremont Abbey or one of our other venues. We are continuously looking for help with ticketing, doors, set up and clean up, and all the various duties it takes to run each event. You'll often have a chance to meet artists as well. Your help with our music, dance, visual art, spoken word and the various other events allow us to reach a wide ranging audience for the LOCAL arts community in Seattle.
