Cover Band for Aging Hipsters

I’ve long-since given up my aspirations of being in a band playing originals. Time to start an old-people’s cover band for former hipsters! I like rock music. Loud. Upbeat. Aggressive. Rock. Music. Some twang is good, too. My favorite bands play guitar rock music: Guided By Voices, The Replacements, Drive-By Truckers, Uncle Tupelo, Springsteen, Husker Du, X, Dinosaur Jr, The Stooges, Mudhoney, Black Sabbath, Young Fresh Fellows, blah blah blah. I'd like to find cool people to hang out with and play a couple times a month, learn some covers, play a show once in awhile. I'm a guitar-playing late-40’s Portland native who grew up on shows at Pine Street and the X-Ray. Alcohol and weed is cool in moderation, but please don't be a trainwreck.
