Due to no fault of her own, I need to find a new home for my working Border Collie. I have put years of work into this dog, numerous clinics and hours of field work. She will work sheep and goats, she isn't confident enough to be a cow dog. A couple years ago we tried our hand at agility and she did well and seemed to enjoy it. She is great with children and other dogs. She cannot be trusted around cats, she needs to go to a home without any or a home where she will never be alone with them. She is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and kennel trained. She is housebroken and loves riding in the car. This decision is heartbreaking for me and I will will be very particular about where she goes. She will need to be spayed. Active home is a must, knowledge of working dogs is a plus but she would thrive in a family setting, given that her exercise and mental stimulation needs are met.
