Description

The Maintenance Mechanic must possess the desire and ability to maintain all plant equipment. As a member of the Jerome team the Maintenance Mechanic will be a partner in the Operations Division. The Maintenance Mechanic’s role is to perform repairs and preventative maintenance on all plant equipment. $1000 Sign on Bonus Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties as assigned) • Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions • Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance • Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment. • Proficient in process instrumentation including troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and calibration • Read, understand and troubleshoot using electrical schematics • General electrical troubleshooting of 24v, 110v, 220v and 480v systems • Understand the theory behind process flow
