Light Manufacturing and Warehouse Local company is looking for a self-starter individual that can oversee select areas to support production of its custom products. Day shift; 5:30 am to 2:00 pm. Person must be mechanically inclined and have ability to work with basic power tools and operate a forklift. Background in basic carpentry is a big plus. Primary responsibilities include: Building wood crates for multi-use packaging of manufactured products Building closed containers for LTL shipment of products Assembly with certain items to assist in production Inspection of finished products for quality standards before packaging Management of incoming and outgoing deliveries, etc. Movement of material with forklift when neccessary. Special projects including new product development compensation: Competitive hourly wage commensurate with experience. employment type: full-time
