Building Maintenance/ Day Porter

Description

Will have a range of tasks inside and outside of a commercial building. Duties will include taking care of bathrooms, replenishing paper supplies, wiping down sinks, urinals, and toilets, making sure all dispensers are full and operational. Ensure that the floors are dry, clear and clean. Maintain cleanliness in common area hallways and lobbies and make sure high traffic areas are free of safety hazards. Will vacuum and clean glass of fingerprints and smudges. Will clean exterior windows semi annually. Carpet clean common areas and suites. Will maintain dock area and cleaning of parking lot areas, as well as walking interior stairwells for garbage, etc. Will complete tenant request work orders, such as, spills and other cleanups. Will assist the Building Engineer as needed (such as unclog toilets, turning off water, changing bulbs/ ballasts – will train if necessary).
