We are digging into the second year of Dazzle and Christmas in general! Dazzle is a family friendly walk through Christmas light experience located in Maple Valley. We have a couple of different tasks to accomplish to get ready for the public and a number of different jobs at different rates: 1. Indoor prep: going through existing metal props, cleaning them, painting them, wrapping Christmas Lights on them and getting them ready to ship out. All done in our warehouse which is located in Georgtown/South Seattle. Compensation $20hr paid as 1099 or $18.50 paid as a W-9 employee. 2. Outdoor Lighting setup: This is all done on site in Maple Valley. Tasks include running extension chords, wrapping trees while safely working on a ladder, placing props. Compensation: $25/hr for liability and insurance purposes this work is ONLY W-2 employee based work. It is still temporary in nature but you will be hired on as an official employee and the appropriate taxes will be filed and paid on your paycheck. 3. Boom lift operator and Christmas light installer: THIS REQUIRES THAT YOU ARE CERTIFIED TO OPERATE A BOOM LIFT, such as a Z-35 or Z-45. We have a few different sites other than Dazzle that requires boom work. Tasks include driving the boom in a safe and sane manner and wrapping Christmas Lights around tree branches, wrapping light poles, and sometimes hanging illuminated stars, snowflakes and other such tchotchkes. Compensation: $30/hr for liability and insurance purposes this work is ONLY W-2 employee based work. It is still temporary in nature but you will be hired on as an official employee and the appropriate taxes will be filed and paid on your paycheck. For outdoor work you will want comfortable waterproof winter clothing.
