The DC Committee to Build a Better Restaurant Industry is hiring petition circulators to help place Ballot Initiative 82 on DC's June primary election ballot. Current and former restaurant workers are encouraged to apply! We have approximately 3 months to collect over 30,000 signatures from registered District of Columbia voters and we need your help! The current pay rate is $5 per each valid signature. Bonuses are available. Only registered DC voters can sign the Initiative 82 petition. This is a contract job, not an hourly job, and the signatures you collect will be checked against the DC Board of Elections voter rolls. You will only be paid for signatures from registered DC voters. Pay is weekly. One 90 minute training is required before you can be fully hired and if you collect 50 valid signatures during your first week after the training, we'll pay you $25 extra. Full-time petition circulators can make between $1,000 to $3,000 a week! Highly motivated petition circulators can make even more. The first step in the hiring process is signing up on our website.
