Busy retail store is in need of a part time person to do general cleaning and restock/organize merchandise. Typical Job Duties & Responsibilities: Daily Cleaning Duties: Sweep, shop-vac and mop floors in the front of the store and the back including under racks and behind racks and freezers. Inspect walls/floors/doors for rodent entry points and repair as needed with steel wool or foam. Clean and dust all shelves, tables and fixtures taking care as to not damage product Clean windows, glass doors, door handles and doors on all freezers. Clean a small bathroom and restock supplies as needed. Standard bathroom procedures are to wipe all hard and glass surfaces, empty wastebasket, service soap, toilet paper and paper towels, sweep and mop floor, clean toilet. Sweep in front of and behind the store. Report low stock supplies to purchasing so they can be reordered Weekly Or Monthly Maintenance: Change HVAC filters Replace lights as needed Organize basement Shop Vac freezer vents Daily Restocking: Organize merchandise according to store guidelines (must be able to lift 40 pounds) Replenish merchandise accordingly Clean merchandise as needed Help unload deliveries as needed Remove trash and recyclables This position starts at $15.20 an hour and is reviewed after a probationary period. Professional references needed. Absolutely must be a self starter, trust worthy and work with minimal supervision. Hours would be 8AM - 12PM Monday - Saturday.
