We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility of maintaining the premises and machinery. The goal is to maintain the buildings, common areas and machinery in the best possible condition. Primary Job Duties will be maintaining our wrapping machines. These are electrical machines which operate thru chains, gears and an air compressor. This function would be performed as needed as well as building maintenance. We are willing to work with the right person in regards to scheduling and salary. Responsibilities Maintaining our wrapping machines Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, etc.) Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.) Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned Skills Proven experience as maintenance technician Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills Good physical condition and strength High school diploma or equivalent
